Ramrod Tips

About: We have made several types of traditional and custom ramrod tips for customers.  Here is a very traditional tapered steel tip for either a 3/8 inch or 5/16 inch ramrod with a female thread in the narrow end for cleaning tools.  These can be made in brass as well and with or without the decorative band.

For a less traditional (although I have seen a similar ramrod end on at least one original rifle) but more utilitarian ramrod tip, we make this one in brass with a reversible brass worm.  These are only available in 3/8 inch diameter at present.

Specifications: 

• Tapered tip for 3/8 inch rod – 3 ½ inches long with either 8-32 or 10-32 tip thread. Steel or brass.
• Tapered tip for 5/16 inch rod – 3 inches long with either 8-32 or 10-32 tip thread. Steel or brass.
• Brass tip with worm for 3/8 inch rod only – 3 inches long with worm reversed, 3 ¾ inches long with worm ready for use.
